Advance Booking Nears Rs 50 Crore In India As Overseas Pre-Sales Hit Rs 36.96 Crore

With just days to go before its theatrical release, Ramayana Part 1 is already making a strong impression at the box office, and the numbers suggest that audiences are eager to see the epic unfold on the big screen. From packed advance bookings in major cities to growing overseas demand, the Nitesh Tiwari directorial is building momentum ahead of its November 5 release. The film has sold more than 11 lakh tickets across India, with domestic advance bookings approaching the Rs 50 crore milestone. Its opening-day pre-sales account for the biggest share of that total, underlining the anticipation surrounding one of the year's most closely watched cinematic releases.

Ramayana Part 1 Advance Booking Collection

According to Sacnilk, Ramayana Part 1 has collected Rs 46.41 crore in domestic advance bookings across all dates, including blocked seats. Excluding blocked seats, the figure stands at Rs 37.41 crore.

The difference between the gross booking figure and the collection excluding blocked seats is worth noting. Blocked seats are not necessarily confirmed ticket sales, making the latter figure a more useful indicator of actual audience bookings.

Ramayana Part 1 Opening Day Advance Booking

The biggest contribution to the film's domestic pre-sales is coming from its opening day. For Thursday, November 5, Ramayana Part 1 has recorded Rs 25.73 crore in advance bookings, including blocked seats. Without them, the collection stands at Rs 21.65 crore.

That means opening-day bookings account for more than half of the film's overall domestic advance gross. The strong early demand points to a potentially substantial opening, although the final box office collection will depend on ticket sales closer to release and audience response once the film reaches cinemas.

Maharashtra is currently the strongest-performing state in the film's domestic advance booking chart, with collections of Rs 9.50 crore. Karnataka follows with Rs 7.22 crore, while Delhi has recorded Rs 6.84 crore.

Gujarat ranks fourth with Rs 3.62 crore. The figures highlight the film's strong pre-release traction across major theatrical markets, with Maharashtra maintaining a clear lead over the other states.

Ramayana Part 1 Language-Wise Advance Booking

The Hindi version is driving the majority of domestic advance bookings, contributing Rs 39.06 crore, or approximately 84 per cent of the overall gross.

The other language versions have also added to the film's pre-release business:

The Hindi version's dominant share reflects the scale of demand in the film's primary market, while bookings for the regional versions add to its pan-India reach.

Ramayana Part 1 Overseas Advance Booking

The film's advance booking momentum extends beyond India. According to the reported figures, Ramayana Part 1 had earned $3.9 million overseas by Monday morning, equivalent to approximately Rs 36.96 crore.

The United States has emerged as a major contributor, with paid previews alone generating more than $1.5 million, or approximately Rs 14.22 crore. These overseas bookings take the film's reported worldwide advance-booking gross to around Rs 75 crore, three days ahead of its release.

Ramayana Part 1 Box Office: What To Expect

With domestic pre-sales nearing Rs 50 crore and worldwide advance bookings reaching approximately Rs 75 crore, Ramayana Part 1 is heading towards its theatrical debut with considerable momentum.
