Tamilnadu Petroproducts Limited (TPL) reported ₹65 crore in consolidated net profit for the quarter ended September 2026 (Q2 FY27), almost double the ₹34 crore profit in the same quarter last year. Consolidated revenue from operations more than doubled to ₹934 crore. The company attributed the performance to stable demand and efficient cost management.

For the first half of the fiscal year, net profit surged to ₹145 crore from ₹69 crore in H1 FY26.

Ashwin Muthiah, Vice-Chairman, TPL, and Founder Chairman, AM International, Singapore, said: “We have delivered a good and notable performance this quarter, with both revenue and profitability recording more than twofold growth over the corresponding period last year. This reflects our ability to navigate a challenging macroeconomic environment through continuous operational improvement, cost discipline and a sharper focus on meeting customer requirements.” He added that the company’s focus on sustainable products and carbon-neutral manufacturing will remain central to its long-term growth strategy.

Incorporated in 1984, TPL is one of the country's leading manufacturers of industrial intermediate chemicals, including Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB), Caustic Soda, and Propylene Oxide. It also sells chlorine as a co-product of Caustic Soda.

The Board of TPL also reappointed D Senthi Kumar as Managing Director for a period of three years from February 18, 2027, subject to approval from members.
