The Jamia Millia Islamia administration will issue a formal notice directing protesting students to vacate the protest site, with the protesters being given 30 minutes to clear the area after 9 am, the university’s Registrar told CNN-News18.

The Registrar said the students had signed a notice agreeing to withdraw the protest immediately and warned that legal action would be initiated if they failed to vacate the site within the stipulated time.
