Anant Ambani traced Jio’s journey to the Ambani family’s larger ambitions, recalling Dhirubhai’s rise from humble beginnings & Mukesh Ambani’s vision of building world-class infra

Anant Ambani, Executive Director of Reliance Industries Limited, invoked faith, family legacy and the vision of a digitally connected India on Wednesday as he addressed shareholders on Jio’s listing day, describing the occasion as a moment of gratitude to the millions of Indians who helped build the telecom giant. Calling business a form of puja, he said the listing bell would ring for him like a temple bell, adding that Jio’s success was akin to prasad being shared with the country.

“Today, Jio is shared with India," Anant said, thanking the company’s 53 crore subscribers and employees, technicians, engineers, service staff and retail partners whose efforts, he said, had made the milestone possible. He traced Jio’s journey to the Ambani family’s larger ambitions for India, recalling Dhirubhai Ambani’s rise from humble beginnings and Mukesh Ambani’s vision of building world-class infrastructure in the country.

Most respected elders,

Most valued shareholders,

Our partners, advisors, and friends from the stock exchanges,

Aap sabko mera saadar pranaam. Jai Shri Krishna.

Let me begin with the one word that matters most today. Gratitude.

To the millions who believed in Jio and made this day possible.

Aap sabka dil se bahut bahut aabhaar.

Today, the bell at the Exchange will ring for me like a temple bell.

Because for me, business is Puja. And every Puja ends with Prasad.

We offer this day at the feet of Lord Ganesh ji, Lord Dwarakanath ji, Lord Srinath ji,

Lord Balaji, and the Living Goddess, Bharat Mata.

Prasad is always shared.

Today, Jio is shared with India.

Bhaiyon aur Behno, Bharat ki sabse badi poonji, uske sapne hain. Yahan har kisi ka

ek sapna hai.

Yahan haath khaali ho sakte hain, par aankhein kabhi khaali nahin hotin.

Barson pehle, Chorwad ke ek saadharan ghar se bhi ek sapna nikla tha. Ek ladka, jo

Aden mein petrol pump par naukri karta tha. Na paisa. Na pehchaan.

Hamare Aadaraneeya Dadaji, Shri Dhirubhai Ambani.

Unhone dikhaya ki ek saadharan Bharatiya bhi asaadharan sapna dekh sakta hai.

Phir hamare Pitaji ne sapna dekha: Bharat kisi se peeche nahin rahega.

Jamnagar ki banjar kahi jaane wali zameen par, duniya ki sabse badi refinery khada

karke dikhaya.

Unhone dikhaya ki jab Bharat banata hai, toh duniya dekhti hai.

Phir aaya naya Bharat. Yuva Bharat. Aur ek naya sapna: har haath mein internet ka,

har gaon mein duniya ka. Is sapne ka naam tha Jio.

Iss sapne ke beej ko Isha Didi ne boya. Aur Aakash Bhai ne us beej ko apna sapna

bana liya.

Jio ko poore desh ne duaayein di.

Maa ne kaha, jiyo mere laal. Daadi ne kaha, jug jug jiyo. Aur doston ne kaha, jiyo yaar!

Jio, shayad duniya ka pehla aisa naam, jo khud ek aashirvaad hai.

Jab duniya ruk gayi thi, school band hue, lekin padhai nahin ruki. Beta ghar chhodkar

shehar gaya, par maa door nahin hui. Sabzi aur kitni der pakani hai, Maa ne video call

par sabzi ka rang dekhkar bata diya.

Aaj Bhagwan ke divya darshan bhi, ghar baithe prapt karne ka saubhagya milta hai.

Ek chote sheher ki ladki, ek mobile phone, aur lakhon log use sunne lage. Inhe influencer kaha jaata hai.

Hazazron meel door, Sarhad pe khada jawaan, ek video call par, ghar par bola, “Maa, mein theek hoon. Beti, mein theek hoon."

Mumbai ka bada doctor, Rajasthan ke Paali ke serious mareez ko jaan de raha hai.
