Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka appeared before the Special Executive Magistrate at Mandir Marg police station on Friday, amid ongoing proceedings linked to the movement. Speaking to reporters after appearing before the executive court, Das stressed the need to respect the judicial process, cautioned against leaks from the proceedings, and said any future course of action would be determined collectively by all those associated with the movement. He also reiterated his demand for Gyanesh Kumar's resignation.

“I would request everyone to respect the proceedings currently underway before the executive court,” Das said.

“We have not been sharing any information with the media about these proceedings. Those leaking information should also respect the judicial process.” “They should not take this lightly, as we too can take action if necessary. Everyone should act responsibly,” he added. On what lies ahead for the movement, Das said decisions would not be taken unilaterally by the CJP.

“As for our future plans, that is something everyone will decide collectively. It is not a decision to be taken by CJP alone,” he said. “Many people are associated with this movement, and everyone will discuss and decide on the next course of action.”

Das further asserted that “Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation is inevitable.” The CJP leaders did not elaborate on the nature of the proceedings, maintaining that details should not be discussed publicly while the matter remains before the executive court.
