KOSPI Today: South Korea's benchmark KOSPI index triggered a five-minute halt in program selling after opening sharply lower on Monday (August 3). The KOSPI opened with a steep gap-down and tumbled 5.5 per cent in early trade, following a historic rally on Friday.
