Oppo Find X10 vs Find X10 Pro Max

Oppo’s Find X10 series marks a bold step forward for the brand in India, bringing two high-end smartphones that prioritise camera excellence, battery endurance, and intelligent software. Both models share the same foundation, ColorOS 17, massive silicon-carbon batteries, fast charging, and Hasselblad-tuned imaging, yet they cater to slightly different priorities. Here’s a clear, balanced comparison to help you decide.

Design and display

The Find X10 features a 6.59-inch display, while the Pro Max steps up to a more expansive 6.78-inch panel. Both deliver a smooth 144 Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 3,600 nits, Dolby Vision support, and the ability to dim to just 1 nit for comfortable low-light viewing. The Pro Max adds high-frequency 3,840 Hz PWM dimming, which may reduce eye strain for some users during extended night-time use.

Both phones use premium glass builds and carry robust IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Colour options differ: the Find X10 arrives in Glacier Blue, Glow Coral and Mist Grey, while the Pro Max offers Titanium Grey and the more distinctive Luna White, which draws inspiration from classic cameras with its two-tone finish and orange accent ring.

Camera systems

Photography is the clear highlight of this generation. The Find X10 is equipped with a dual 200MP rear setup developed with Hasselblad, supported by Oppo’s LUMO True Image Engine for improved colour, tone and detail. It records 4K video at 60fps across its cameras, with the main and telephoto lenses also capable of 4K at 120fps and 8K at 30fps. Hasselblad Hi-Res Mode allows 50MP or 200MP stills, and the phone is compatible with an optional Hasselblad Teleconverter for greater optical reach.

The Find X10 Pro Max goes further with a full triple 200MP system: an ultra-wide (124-degree field of view), a large 1/1.28-inch main sensor co-developed with Samsung and featuring DeepPix technology for stronger HDR performance, and a telephoto lens with an f/2.1 aperture that can focus as close as 10cm. All three cameras support 4K at 60 fps and 120 fps, plus 8K at 30 fps. Additional video tools include Dolby Vision, O-Log2 and Open Gate Capture, giving creators more flexibility in post-production.

Performance and battery

Under the hood, the Find X10 is powered by the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600M, while the Pro Max uses the more advanced 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro. Both benefit from vapour chamber cooling to maintain performance during demanding tasks.

Battery life is a shared strength, each model carries a silicon-carbon battery of up to 8,000mAh and supports the same rapid charging speeds: 80W wired SUPERVOOC and 50W wireless AIRVOOC. Day-long endurance with power to spare is expected from both devices.

Software and AI features

Both run ColorOS 17 with a suite of practical AI tools. AI Mind Pilot with Agent Mode can handle multi-step tasks using on-device photos and files. AI Photo Agent offers editing suggestions and text-based instructions, including a Style Match feature. AI Call Guard helps detect potential fraud during calls. The Pro Max additionally highlights Private Computing Cloud for more secure, encrypted AI processing.
