Inspector-General of Police (Operations), OCTOPUS (Organisation for Counter Terrorist Operations), Andhra Pradesh, Ch. Srikanth, urged students to cultivate discipline, alertness and courage, and develop a strong sense of service to society.

Addressing students during Police Commemoration Day celebrations at Veeramachaneni Paddayya Siddhartha Public School in Mogalrajapuram on Friday, he highlighted the role of the police in protecting citizens and maintaining public safety.

The event paid tribute to police personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty and sought to sensitise students to the responsibilities and challenges faced by the police force.

School vice-president V. Nagabhushana Rao, secretary Paladugu Lakshmana Rao, joint secretary and convenor Sureddi Vishnu, and governing body member Ch. Arun Kumar were present.

Principal Meda Sitaramaiah felicitated the chief guest. Vice-Principal K. Rose Mary, headmistress Ch. Jayalakshmi, academic coordinator D. Anuradha and other staff members participated in the programme.
