Danielle Parton to join the brand ambassador of Dolly Parton’s estate

Danielle Parton, Dolly Parton’s niece, has officially been selected as the brand ambassador of the estate and is said to carry forward the Partons’ legacy in the entertainment world.

The 50-year-old also shared a video online about the role, expressing how honoured she is for the role.

Taking to her Instagram account, the famed pilot opened up about why and how she landed the opportunity of a lifetime after she was selected as the brand ambassador for Parton’s overall legacy. Describing herself as a “girl boss," Danielle added, “Like so many of you, losing her has changed something for me. It made me think of the stories, values, and lessons that she left behind and the responsibility that our family has to care for them.

”She also opened up about how the demise of the country singer was heartbreaking for her and that she refuses to "never try and speak for Dolly." Instead, she was asked to help tell the world the incredible stories of the singer and everyone else.Danielle Parton explains her motivation for taking on this role“I’m not crazy enough to try to fill her shoes. God knows I couldn’t walk on them without killing myself. What I can do is share the woman that I knew.

I can tell some of the stories of her, the stories behind the global icon, and support the people carrying forward the work that she cared for and created to make sure what she built continues to bring people joy,” she added. “Yes, Dolly Parton was my aunt, but to me, she will always be Aunt Granny.

She loved us deeply and believed in big dreams, and she always encouraged me to find my way in this world. Being a Parton means hard work, big dreams, and never forgetting where you came from. I’m proud to be part of that legacy and to carry it on in my own way. Parton and Danielle had a special bond with each other, which solidified even more at their earlier high school dress.”Dolly passed away at age 80 on August 25 following a “brief battle with cancer.”
