An email claiming to represent the Khalistan National Army has threatened bomb attacks at the Mumbai Mayor’s office and a school, while also naming actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh in a separate threat involving the Mahalaxmi Racecourse.
The sender issued threats against multiple locations and referred to dates in October and November, invoking the 1984 anti-Sikh violence and using pro-Khalistan slogans.
According to the email, a bomb attack was threatened at the Mumbai Mayor’s office at 3.11 pm, while a school was allegedly targeted for an attack at 1.11 pm.
The message also threatened a grenade attack on October 31 and a bomb blast at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse on November 27.
The sender’s identity could not be independently verified. The threats and the claims made in the email remain unverified allegations, and the message alone does not establish the authenticity of the purported organisation or its claimed association with the sender.
The email contained the phrases “Mumbai Bombay BoleGa" and “Khaslistan Zindabad", alongside a warning to save children.
It also referred to the 1984 anti-Sikh violence and used the phrase “Khoon da badla khoon" (blood for blood), alleging that the threatened attacks were retaliation against people it accused of targeting the Sikh community.
The message specifically referred to October 31, alleging that a person associated with the slogan “Khon da BADLA khon" would be killed in a grenade attack.
It also named November 27 as the date for an alleged bomb blast at Mahalaxmi Racecourse, claiming that the attack would target Daljit Dosanjh.
The message also accused people it associated with the 1984 violence of being responsible for atrocities against Sikhs.
The email was signed in the name of the Khalistan National Army and listed several names alongside locations and organisational references.
These included Eng. Guranakh Singh, Rukan Shahwala; Dr Gurnirvair Singh, Khan Rajada, Prof Gurakaal Singh, PhD, Khem Karan, and Prof Gurangaar Singh, Jandiala Guru.
The message also mentioned “Babbar Khalsa (Parmar-Canada)".
