Ashok Leyland reports 30% rise in July sales

Ashok Leyland has reported 30% rise in its total sales, including exports, at 19,590 units in July 2026 as compared to 15,064 units in July 2025. During July 2026, the company’s Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) sales grew 32% year-on-year (Y-o-Y) to 7,320 units.  

Further, its Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (M&HCV) Trucks sales rose 47% to 9,809 units in July 2026 as compared to 6,667 units in previous year same month. However, M&HCV Bus sales decreased 14% to 2,461 units in July 2026 as compared to 2,862 units in July 2025.   

Ashok Leyland, the Hinduja Group flagship company in India, is engaged in the manufacturing of commercial vehicles and related components. The company’s products include buses, trucks, engines, defense and special vehicles.
